There was another thread on this news item started about the same time
-fingers- down the dog's throat -do- help with some dogs
which are not 'too' intent on doing harm.
I imagine a fist would work on a mean dog.
I had a new pet dog (wife's) of some weight
challange me for 'pack leadership'.
Got mad,
grabbed hold & lifted upside-down over my head.
Dog yelped & wimpered,
put him down after about 10-sec
and he never challanged me again.
Have to teach my daughter about fist into throat.
Smaller hand should fit nicely down past the opening to the dog's trachea.
It shouldn't fight for too long after that.
