My county is under seige.

There have been 6 shootings around Montgomery County in the last 16 hours. All by 1 or 2 guys in a White small-sized pickup truck.

:confused:
 
The shootings are completely random.

The last one was at 8:37 this morning...

A 30 yr. old white woman entering a shopping center.

Ouch!:eek::( Prayers going out. I the scum are caught quickly and tht they do no more damage.
 
Not a good day -

In addition to the Maryland shootings, there was a hostage incident in New York (a few injuries, no one killed), a political incident (Korean firing into the air on the grounds of the UN as a protest against North Korea, and a bombing in the Phillipines that killed a GI.

Strange things are afoot. Makes you grateful for the few quiet moments in life.
 
If twenty years ago the idiot monsters who shot people for kicks had been snuffed out by armed citizens fairly soon in their careers, it would be not now be an established avenue for homicide. The media got ahold of it and rode it to the top of the psychotic charts.

I wouldn't mind putting a 19" chitlangi through his head.

To the families suffering: prayers and smoke going up...You're not alone and the burden is shared with us.
 
It seems the whole world has lost it's morals and decency. That has came by the destruction of the family life. People used to be taught to care for the young and elderly until it got to the point someone had to keep up with the Joneses.
Now it seems that way to few cares even for their own family let alone anyone else much to often.:(

Okay, as kids I'm sure a few of us have egged someones house, perhaps car, Toilet papered a few trees, maybe even put out a window with a rock or flattened a tire. But these were not violating the human rights of an individual.

when I went to school, you might get hassled by a bully, but not shot.

This stuff is going too far, tho.

Proposed solutions include a 19" Chitlangi and an A-10 strike. I think both of those count as "termination with extreme prejudice". In fact, we may need to come up with a new rating system.
 
People who do this stuff have to be nuts or else subhuman. Either way I'm not sure a value system could be instilled in them. Sad situation.
 
Far too many times I hear the comment about a crooks rights. I say, If the jackass didn't consider his victims rights he doesn't deserve any rights. Old Mexico had the right idea. If the clown was caught in the act of rape, murder, or other hanging offence just take him out to that adobe wall and get it over with.
I have wondered what would happen to folks like us if the criminal breaks into my house and I defend myself. How much longer will I be justified in not running out of the house and let the jerk have all I have.

I say if the dumby keeps pushing the owner or renter, that has a crooked knife or tomahawk in hand, and gets hurt real bad, sorry about that. More better him than me. If I was in California and they wanted me to run, I guess I would just have to go to jail.
 
Many reports in the papers about people defending their property and being charged for assault on the perp, or having to defend theirselves in court for using the weapon.

My house was robbed years ago, when I wasn't home. Cop told me if I should ever have to do someone in, if I'm home, MAKE SURE:
Signs of forced entry to the house.
Perp must have a gun, knife or instrument to do you in, in his hand or close by, with his fingerprints on it.
You must have deep belief that your life was in DANGER OR of your loved ones
Don't shoot him in the knee cap, kill him. Otherwise he will sue and win in court that you disabled him.
HE ALSO SAID IF YOU TRY TO USE MY STATEMENTS IN THE FUTURE, I WILL DENY THEM.

I figure, if I wake up in the middle of the night, someone is in my house he is UP TO NO GOOD AND DAMN THE TORPEDOS, ME OR HIM.
 
Predatory criminals often look for a situation in which there are no witnesses to their deeds. If that happens to be the case and the intended victim manages to turn the tables, well, let your conscience be your guide.
 
I would lock myself in a room with a phone and a means of stopping my attacker. I would verbally warn the attacker to leave because the police are en route, and that if he attempted to hurt me or anyone I had in my house, I would stop him by any means necessary.

Going out hunting for an intruder in your home is a very untactical thing to do if you have no one to protect by doing it. Life is worth more than a few posessions, and you will get them all back when the police arrive anyway.

Also the idea of setting up a scene will just make forensic experts and judges doubt the sincerity of your self-defense claims. You WILL get caught if you try to alter a scene, and you WILL go to jail instead of going free. Don't try it.

I've heard about cases where an injured intruder sued someone who was defending their property, but I've always wondered if this was an urban myth. Does anyone know any specific cases?
 
In this part of the country there would be no "injured intruders," only "missing persons."
