What is the best small knife for use in sheeple workplace?

Thank you people! I think I will use the Blue Delica for a bit and then switch to the Small Sebi if and when;) ! Got my eye on a small Damascus graphic sebi:eek: !

I would definitely recommend a CRKT Pike's Peak from the 14k summit series. it has about a 2 1/2 inch blade with a modified sheepsfoot shape and a satin finish. the handle is gold and i'm guessing anodized aluminum(?) it also has the really cool LAWKS system so it's very safe and that's a huge plus for most sheeple, including my mom. the handle also is ventilated with holes and has a removable pocket clip. and as always with CRKT, the price is right at $25! i plan on doing a review of it as soon as i use it harder on a few things. also mine says Ingersoll Rand on the blade and i like their tools so that was an added bonus for me.

Brandon:rolleyes:

If you like Spyderco you might try the little "Solo". I bought a Solo I and like it a lot. It's small and sheeple friendly. It's clipless, and comes with a leather pouch (also clipless). I tied a Sebie style lanyard with colorful cord to help pull it out of the pouch. Works great in the watch pocket.

I second or third, I didn't read all of the posts, the nomination for the Calypso Jr. either lightweight or micarta. what a knife.

be safe all,

My wife used to work at Mcdonalds and it was funny how people would see her opening fry boxes and say "you carry a knife?"

It was and old Schrade Barlow with a maybe 2 1/2 inch blade.

She would say, my husband carries one much bigger and laugh.

Actually I carry a S&W baby SWAT everywhere and most dont think of it as a weapon ( I'm a teacher )and those that do I tell them about my bowie and they leave me alone.

Funny story the first present I gave my wife even before we dated was a small fighter I made. She used to carry it around and think it was great. When we got engaged I made her a short sword. Later I bought her a rifle. I have a wonderful wife.

I have to agree with the SAK or a mini-multitool (Micra). Only a total idiot would feel threatened by one of these knives.

There are more total idiots around than there are people like us. Or so it seems sometimes.

hahaha. one of my friends stared at me aghast whe he saw my camillus Mini Talon ... it doesn't really get any smaller than that and still have any utility whatsoever. and of course, the ubiquitous "why do you have a knife?" question. sheesh ...

The Spyderco Mouse, great small knife. My wife gave up her pink Cricket for the Mouse.

I don't know why for sure, but my Griptilian has been very sheeple friendly. While it is not a small knife, for some reason people see it and think "tool," not potential weapon. Could be the blade shape. I've had women who would look askance at my BM-710 say the Griptilian looks "cute." Go figure.

For our anniversary last year I gave my wife an accurized Ruger Mini-14 rifle with a 4-12x50 scope. She was delighted! Her comment: "True love is giving someone the ability to kill you at 600-meters." ;)

She gave me an anatomically accurate life-size model of a human heart on a neat little stand. I think we're a good match. :D

Sifu........who cares what sheepeople think;)
I think that a good user friendly knife would be the BM Osborne 940, preferably without a black handle (green, blue or the rare red)

Cold Steel long cutlass! :)

Actually, I always have a main knife I carry either clipped in RH pocket, or in my waist pack. I also always carry a red Ladybug with my keys, a SAK Classic in the LH pocket, a Leatherman Pulse and once again a Micra (in waist pack). Once when cutting paper with the scissors on my little Classic, a woman very seriously and irritated, said, "I'll have you know that is a concealed weapon you are carrying. Watch out. That thing's dangerous.":barf: If someone is so stupid to be afraid of the most PC pocketknife on earth, to hell with 'em!

Now I have to be careful because my work takes me onto university and community college campuses. I usually get by with the Classic, Micra, and occasionally I might decide to take along my little Buck 309 2-blade penknife for visible cutting chores, and keep the other blades/tools out of sight.
