what is the blade length you are carrying?

Spyderco Rescue about 3.6 inches.....
Spyderco Street Beat about 3.2 inches PE.....
Krein Woodcarving Knife about 2.75 inches PE.....

I almost never carry anything longer than 2 to 2 1/2 inches of blade. A small sak, a Case peanut. Knives like that. Never anything serrated.

I find for most real world use, a couple inches of blade is enough, and it does not get any attention.

This week, 2.88" plain edged Calypso jr. Waiting for my 3" Rookie to arrive to arrive for next week's carry.

3 3/8" Darrel Ralph Trigger & 2" William Henry Attache.

3.5" is the legal limit in Seattle. I would probably go to about 3.75-4.0 inches but for legal concerns, but it doesn't bother me too much--3.5 is a very nice size for EDC. Going from 3.5" to 4.0" seems to be a huge leap as far as the perception of sheeple, in my experience. Funny how .5 inch makes so much difference. Since my WH fulfills my sheeple knife role, I would still go to 4" if I could.

Weekday at work 2"
nights and weekends 3 to 3.5

2.75" Boker Trance. Any over 3" can be considered a dangerous weapon in MI (MCL 750.226).

on my person, the smaller the better, i own a Boker Trance and Buck 507 that i trade back and forth

really? I carry as large a knife as I can as per the law (or smaller if the situation demands it). I suppose if I had unlimited length I would probably stop at like 4.5 inches instead of my current largest which is 3.9.
