what is the busse fans favorite folder??

I've carried all of the knives mentioned above, my choice is definitely a Hinderer XM-24 and when I have some extra cash, A Yuna Qi 4.1

Right now for me it is a Benchmade Ritter Grip installed in a set of Wilkins scales.

I just picked up the ZT/Emerson 0620 collaboration knife.
It has t some really excellent features.
I really like the hardened steel insert on the lock bar face.
It is built better than any Emerson or strider I have owned.
I have big hands (4.25" across the palm) and it fits really well.
Give it a look.

I'm eyeing that one hard.

Now I have spydercos, emersons, a Sng and a few others in rotation.

I have played with the zt 620cf and it's a great knife. Should be getting one in a few days

Coming from more of a folder background (shhhh), I have a number of excellent choices available to me:

It ends up that I am almost never without one or the other of the two Hinderers. All of these are nicely overbuilt. Don't discount the non-flippers, the SnG in particular deploys almost as fast as the XM-18's. And while Strider discourages too much tinkering, both the Sebenza and the Hinderers are designed for, practically encourage, full disassembly. With the Hinderers, you can also buy (well, hunt for) parts to bling them out - scales, screws, clips, are all user replaceable. The smaller (3") XM-18 slicer feels almost too small and thin when you first pick it up, and then after a day or two perceptions change, and everything else seems too big - it's enough to get most jobs done, and is remarkably unobtrusive. The bigger (3.5") XM-18 with the Spanto blade is still my favorite though, it's a handful, and screams "use me." It kind of spoiled me for other folders, though - hard to get excited about new designs when they have the XM-18 to compete against.

Another direction you could look is Medford Knife & Tool - I've handled a few and they kind of redefine "overbuilt" for folders. You might lean to one side while carrying one, though.

Well, I wanna try an XM-24. Can I even order one right from Rick? If not, I am about to unleash about a dozen BNIB rare Benchmades after I upgrade to gold so I can sell. I will buy an Argonne Assault, and beer with the proceeds.

I like titanium framelocks, really like my 3" and 3.5" Hinderer, the tanto Umnumzaan is a hell of a slicer though. As mentioned before, the all Ti Grayman Dua is a hell of a knife for the money. I also like a lot of the Kingdom Armory designs and Curtiss

Zt 0560. I have to have a flipper.
Can't legitimize the extra cost of a Hinderer but will continue to lust for one.

I've got several folders from Spyderco, Buck, Emerson, Benchmade, Hiro, and others.

The only one that really gets carried is my Emerson Commander.

Hinderer XM-18.. That being said, you cant beat the Hinderer designed high quality ZT 0550 and 0562 (cf) flipper's.
The 0550 is being discontinued, and can be purchased now at great prices.

I just got a ZT 0550BW on black friday for $150.00 shipped.
Cant beat that for a Hinderer designed Titanium frame lock S35VN limited edition discontinued folder.

I'm eyeing that one hard.

i really like it, pretty amazing knife for $200

close up of the lock insert that also acts as an overtravel stop, just like the hinderer "disk"
