  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Mine would be a Chinese Buck #307 from Wally World. I bought it on clearance for $7.50. Great little knife. I also have Buck Canoe from Osh that I picked up for $9. And a Kershaw Scallion I got from a Wally World clearance for $15. For the price, all of these are great knives.

$10 Victorinox Waiter

It opens mail, beer, and wine.... what else could you ask for? :)

Hi symphonyincminor -

I agree - I have had one in my pocket for 10 years, and I have used everything the knife offers, including the tweezers to remove an unfortunate splinter from a biker-babe at Hog-Rock one year...True story!

Cheapest? An $11 after-Christmas closeout from WallyWorld - a Buck 110 from a Christmas 'collector's tin'. I bought ten of them - great gifts over the next year, but they had ~30+ of them - I left the rest for 'manners'. The next guy bought them all! I wish I had kept more than one (Buck 110 gluttony is a well documented malady.). Next up the ladder would be various Vic SAKs - then a regular sale-priced 110. Now I carry BMs.

I have an old Schrade 180T pocketknife that I paid $10 for. Nice patina, great classic delrin scales. Had a stockman of the same vintage go walkabout on me a couple of months back, so I'm carrying this one a little less often.

For me it's my Vic PE OHT, use it all the time, always in the pocket among some other knives

Vic Midnite Mini Champ picked up on sale at Amazon for $19, always on keychain. Spyderco Byrd Flight w/G10 scales I picked up for around $28 that I'm carrying until I send in my Mini Griptilian for new omega springs after the Christmas mail madness is over.

The Benchmade is probably the most I've paid for a knife, actually. In the military, I usually carried a Vic Fieldmaster (still have one, don't EDC it now though) along with something like a Buck 110 or comparable knock off from Puma or Schrade/Old Timer, and for the longest stretch a Gerber LST Magnum. My only fixed blade for years was my Buck 119. I tend to replace lost/stolen knives rather than accumulate them. I can't convince my wife that ten or so knives isn't "too many"...
