What is the Most Expensiive Kinfe you have EVER purchased, and were you satisfied?

The most I ever paid for a knife was a khukuriI for $120.
I payed $50 for a Buck Ergo Hunter Pro in S30V. It was originally $250, but it was quite a sale.

IIRC, my Benchmade 162 ran $160 with a custom sheath. That is the only time I ever spent over one Ben Franklin.

I like the 162 but, if I had to do it again I would spend a little more and purchase a Survive! GSO.

Sebenza 25. Probably my best made knife. I never carry it though. It costs too much to carry.
I do like having it anyway.

TiLT. Yes.

Paid about $145 for a Spyderco Native limited run in Moonglow Acrylic scales. It was a forum knife from a different forum. Didn't really do anything for me, so I sold it to someone else from that forum who missed the run for the same as I paid for it.

The second most expensive knife was the 2013 Bladeforums Traditional forum knife. That was $130, and I still have it. Great knife, but I haven't gotten around to using it yet.

I've only broke the $300 barrier once...and that was only because things run a bit pricier over here. In this case it was a ZT0303. I still love it, but I tend to carry/use smaller knives.

A close second would be the Bradley Cutlery Mayhem. Payed for it new around the $260 mark. Still one of my favorite knives ever. Just wish I got the plain edge instead of the PS...

About $800 for XM18 2nd Gen with smooth CF. Good knife worth money I've spent.

I can't justify spending more than $400-500 on a knife considering that is getting into gun territory. So the most I have spent is $500.

Amen. If I'm spending $1000, it's going to be on a gun.
And yes, I've spent that much on a gun. Twice.
Henry Big-Boy and a Ruger Mini-14.

I got a good deal on a MIke Mann Cumberland with elk handles, most I ever spent years and years ago, I have not used it, but I am satisfied that if I ever do use it that it would not let me down. Still keep it safe now and I have others I will use first since they are users.

Most expensive knife I ever purchased was a 154cm/s90v Para2 in carbon fiber. Stumbled on one at an online dealer and figured I'd never see another one at the price it was listed at. Very cool and enjoyed it for a while, but ultimately recognized I wasn't ever going to really use it freely, so sold it and used the proceeds to fund some new stuff.

Nice Small Bocote Dangerously!

This is a Large Snakewood Inlay and is the most I spent on a knife. Its worth it, but I still carry my cheaper knives more often.

I payed $800 for a custom fixed blade a few years ago, which in my country is a ton of money even nowadays in spite of the raging inflation. I'm absolutely happy with my purchase, I've used it a lot.

Most I've ever spent in cash was for a 0392 great knife but I couldn't use it traded for an xm18 which I really like. I have traded or some higher end stuff like my ferrox or tolk but no cash actually left my hands.

$300ish on a small sebenza. Yes very satisfied. 2nd most was about $290 on a used SnG CC, and also yes quite satisfied, though i eventually traded it on.

My most expensive was a Winkler Belt Knife. I'm completely satisfied with the knife; but it has given me an appetite for more!

So the smart part of my brain says "you only need one of those on your belt", and the dumb parts says "Look sculpted wood, or new line" and tries to trick the smart part.
