what is the most valuable knife you have gifted?

My brother was speechless when I gave him a Spyderco Military CE, custom leather horizontal sheath and a Sharpmaker before he headed back home before Christmas. He's a Deputy Sheriff and carried a Smith and Wesson folder that weighed about a pound but now carries the Millie. I simply reminded him that he wouldn't go cheap when buying a firearm and the same consideration should apply when buying a knife. :D

Thats awesome man! It'd be amazing to go from a S&W to a Spyderco Military, especially if he didnt know the feeling of a good knife. Mannnn, I always wished I had a damn brother!! lol

recently, i have gifted a super blue caly 3.5
as secret santa i found my persons grail .... spyderco kershaw spyker. gifted that to him
and was part of a mass gifting, where 10 of us pulle dmoney together to get someone who wasnt doing to well in his personal life a super blue caly 3.5 to cheer him up

I think I would rather not say what the value is as the monetary value is often irrelevant when gifting a knife or anything for good reason, but I have gifted a few high end production knives as well as one or two nice customs.

For my 2000th post here on BF I gave away a really nice Bark River Northstar with curly maple handles and red liners. I hope the winner is using it.

I've gifted ZT 0551, Emerson CQC-7, Emerson CQC-10, Spyderco Mili D2, BM Grip, BM Mini-Grip, Vic SAK Farmer, a couple of Byrds, ...Most expensive knife I've bought for myself was probably my Damascus or S30V G10 LEEKs (Other than a few nice kitchen knives, that is :-) )
Oh, yeah I forgot, I've given a Damascus LEEK, Global Fillet knife, Mac Deba, Mac Santoku, Another Japanese Usuba (don't remember the maker) Vic kitchen knives...

Gave my daughter a Chris Reeve Umnum? this summer

She's never without it,and uses it everyday!

Gave away a Strider SNG ( a local PD asked me about what he should replace his S&W folder with , so I gave him one out of my pocket - he now owns 5 Strider folders and 2 ZT's ), Strider WP , about 6 fixed blades I have made ( 2 to local Eagle Scouts ) , a handful of $50-$70 slipjoints.

I made two knives for christmas presents this year. A fighter for my uncle and a hunter/utility for my father-in-law.
