What is the one knife you regret purchasing

Zero Tolerance 301. I read about it being big and heavy. I saw pics of it being big and heavy. I also saw video reviews of the knife and it indeed looked big and heavy. I bought it anyway and I hated that it was big and heavy. Entirely my fault, but I tend to like smaller stuff and I returned it. The 350 is starting to look really good.

sog flash 2, smith and wesson hrt something or other, sog trident. pretty much every knife ive bought except my bark river sum bitch

Well, I don't regret any, although I have sold a lot of them that didn,t do quite what I thought they would.

I have two.

#1 My CRKT M16-10Z. The first knife I bought, and the one that got me into collecting. If only I knew then what I know now. AUS4, tanto tip, chisel grind, partially serrated. But at least I learned everything that I don't like at once.

#2 My Spyderco "S". I guess it's worth it just because it is so cool  But it has really bad blade play in both directions :thumbdn:

MOD CQD Mark II.

I had to send it in twice for a plunge lock problem. The knife is too tactical for me and it just doesn't fit my needs.

Best Purchase:
My Small Regular Sebenza. Definately worth the money!

1-COLD STEEL RECON 1 Tanto tip: Nice knife but I didn't like the tanto point profile, I traded for a Recon 1 clip point.
2-CRKT M16-10Z. AUS4, tanto tip: The blade steel is too soft, I had to sharpen it too frequently.

It's funny, I have never bought a knife I regret purchasing. I usually do some research on most every knife I buy. I came across this site 3 years ago doing just that. I use the testimonies in these threads and I also use "Youtube" quit often. Or I go somewhere to actually handle the knife. But most all the knives I purchase or trade for I am pleased with. I have received knives that were different in hand then what I expected though I still was content with it. Maybe I am just easy to please!:D

Busse Sar 4 LE. I love Busses, have several, but this one doesn't work for me for some reason. Unfortunately, it was a "buy right now or never thing" (I think it was up for two days?) and I took the plunge. For $400, and watching the resale value it's only about $350 right now. So I guess I'll hold on to it for a year or so and hope the price goes up so I can at least break even.
Problem with buying off the net, especially when no one else has the knife to offer inputs etiher.

+1 exactly on the cs recon 1 don't care for it for same reason as well as being too heavy. my fault though.

Disapointed in the Benchmade 551 Griptilian.

The blade chipping, is so bad you'd think it was the serrated model.
Also the nasty sound when closing, CLACK!

TOPS Steel Eagle. Maybe it was just a bad batch...but just not a good production for the money spent. I am sure with a little work it could have been a nice production, wasnt worth the time.

So far I have been lucky in my purchases, my thing is I always want to try something new:thumbup:

I bought some cheap Chinese Frost folders for presents a few years ago. I feel bad even giving them away.

Of all the blades I have, I suspect my SOG NW Ranger is probably my least liked. It is an okay knife, but I know I'll never use it. Hence it was wasted money. It was my second SOG blade and I have learned better what I like versus when I bought that blade. The SOG Tigershark with the partial serrations is also a blade I suspect I'll never use. I like the old Tigershark in carbon steel.
