What is YOUR best knife??

I have a lot of knives My newest being the Chris Reeve Sebenza with micarta inlay. Before this one my EDC was a AL MAR Shrike.

my little delica 4 fits the bill every time.Whats best - I dont even know its in my pocket until I need it (due to its light weight)

I just received my Bill Buxton 52100 EDC, and have to put it in contention for my best fixed blade.

Please show us a photo of this. I am a big fan of Bill's knives. I only have two of them, but should be looking at another soon.

Thanks all- I am kind of surprised that nobody mentioned the likes of : My first knife that my dad gave me is the best because I love it the most. But that is why I started the thread- to see how the question would be interpreted!

BM557 Mini-Grip Tanto PE! I have more expensive knives, but this thing is featherlite, and cuts like an axe.

My Dad and Uncle taught me bits and pieces about knives, but they made me save my own money for my first knives (so that I would always remember the effort it took to get them).

My "best" folder is my Benchmade 805 TSEK.

My "best" fixed-blade is my Cold Steel stainless Trailmaster Bowie, with my Cold Steel 6" "new-style" Tanto a close 2nd choice.

Kirby Lambert Spearpoint. Either my carbon scales/damasteel bolsters or my green micarta scales/damasteel bolsters.....both are superb. The green micarta one gets all the pocket time though since the scales are a little grippier.

adj. Superlative of good. "Surpassing all others in excellence, achievement, or quality; most excellent: the best performer; the best grade of ore."

Tough call...maybe...

Very tough question!

My best one right now is probably my Cabela's Alaskan Guide Buck 110.

Why?
It is an American classic.
It has S30V steel that has been heat-treated by the legendary Paul Bos.
The heft and weight of the knife makes you feel like you're holding a REAL KNIFE.
And it's simple beautiful--a beauty that you just can't get with black G-10 or dull grey titanium.

Allen.

It would be a toss-up between my Benchmade 806SD2 and 3550. The 806 is probably a better knife all around, but the 3550 is just a thing of beauty.
