What is your craziest gadget?

FrankieCrabs: I'd usually suspect that you would check around the .network of /forums/ for the answer, if you get my drift. ;)

I know what you're saying, but that forum is a real pain- I had to re-register, just to look around.

Yea, you have to be registered to view anything, but that is where I got the chopsticks from. Check out the Toxic Toys forum there.

Yeah this is what I mean by teeth friendly:D

mwerner , i didn't find the scissors dagger you mentioned.

ah?

how on earth do you guys manage to bite the chopsticks in the first place?

I've got a portable counterfeit money checker, actual piece used in the olden days by the FBI. Two very old typewriters, both in working order and great condition.

A beautifull polished steel, campagnolo coffee perculator (the bike nuts will know what that means). I'm not sure where they come from. An old friend was the Australian importer for campag in the 90's. He gave it to me.

I find the pickle fork to be much handier than chopsticks, and although a little bulky, it does a better job for self defense. Odder than that would be my self advancing hand cranked post drill in stylish FeO2 finish. Before that it was the Amstrad semi portable computer. Now that was a crazy gadget.

Darn this forum. I just signed up at USN and also ordered a pair of the chopsticks. LOL!

:D

Ming- I was all hot to buy the Campagnolo corkscrew...till I found out what they cost.

I don't know if Shimano might make one at 1/3 the price.....

Set of ratcheting box wrenches... way to cool!

P.s. dont use pickle forks, theres a claw looking thing just for tierods! got two fingers that go on top, one on the bottom with a bolt that ya tighten down... pop its free!

I think you can get em at harbor freight, dunno on pricing/ the true name, we've got one up at the church that is WAY to easy to break em loose!

Dovo manicure and haircutting implements, for my girlfriend to use when she comes over to "do" me on Friday evenings.

I also collect hypodermic syringes and surgical instruments, but I haven't found any practical use for them. As crazy as they are, they don't qualify as "gadgets" strictly speaking.
