What is your favorite Becker and why?

BK4 is my favorite. Also in the running is the BK16, and the BK15 for food prep.

The 7 is my favorite Becker. I have 2 Cammilus versions, one a user and the other NIB.
I often compare the 7 to my 91' Toyota pickup with the 22r engine.
It is reliable.
It is non-complicated.
It is easy to maintain.
It is not fancy, but it does what it is designed to do.
It serves me, I do not serve it....but I am loyal to it by keeping it clean and doing a bit of maintenance once in a while.

So far, BK9 for sure.

Its big enough to chop if needed, light enough to carry without fatigue and use for extended periods of time, batons anything I'd ever need split. Its big enough to replace my hatchet, and still does small tasks well enough that I feel that I can do anything within reason with it. Its the king.

Although the BK15 finally came in so I'll have to give that a chance to take its place once I get some real usage with it.

I used the 16 heavily this past weekend from messing around with wood to cutting up a bunch of apples for the mother-in-law and it came hunting both weekends for turkey. I can say that the 16 is the knife I would have designed for myself. Fits my XL hands great, ergos are fantastic, the full flat grind is a laser with a convexed edge and it is the perfect size and weight for me. The 16 has replaced my 2 as my favorite, which is crazy to say, but I just can't keep it off my side.

The above pretty much sums up my feelings. If I couldn't have the 16 I would probably go with the BK 10.

I have a 4, 5, 15 and 17 so far. Not having them for a long time yet, my initial impression is that the 15 should make a nice hiking companion. Not too big, the tweeter handle is great for me and a good relatively thin, but not too thin blade. It is good at cutting, not a big chopper. I don't care for the finger cut out, but I like it otherwise very much!

I think the 16 may be next on my list, bet it would be a good one too!

The 16. It's the Goldilocks of the Beckers. It's not too big, and not too small. In my opinion, it is the absolute perfect size for a belt knife. Also, drop point is easily my favorite blade shape. My 16 is always with me when I'm hiking, camping, or bushcrafting. I think it's one of the best production knives in the world.

there are so much good feedbacks on the 16 and i really looking forward to get it in my hands. wonder how the 17 will be like but for now .. 9 is the one for me, at least for now

For me it is still the BK-2. I currently am the proud owner of a family of beckers 2,4,5,15,16,24. I just recently got the 4 and 5 so I haven't put them through a complete ringer but I just love how you can put the 2 through hell and it will always come out smiling asking for more. the only thing it really is bad at is slicing and chopping veggies, they tend to explode :D.

I have a 11,24,13,10 and 15 on the way.
The 11 is my favorite...it's literally the perfect EDC blade.

Sophia's choice.........I guess my 2. I love beating on that thing. Love the 9 as well but I'm sticking with the 2. It's just an awesome do it all blade that's fat as can be, stays sharp forever and don't have the slightest fear of breaking it.

The 11. It's small enough to anywhere with me but big enough to do most things pretty well.

I have a 4, 5, 9, 10, 11 & 16. So far, the BK10 is my favorite model. I like how the knife feels and how it is balanced in my hand. It is easy to carry, it can act like a big Becker or I can get in close and easily use some finesse.

With that in mind, my favorite out of the Beckers I own is my BK11. It was my first Becker years ago and it has seen the most use. I bought mine right after Ka-Bar re released them back in what, 2008-09? For some reason, I have even held out on buying a BK-14. It would just feel.... wrong. :p

Too tough to call...this week or month it's the 10 or 12 before that it was the 2.
9 & 4 are in there as well....
But if you make me pick only one it's Da 2!
Sweet n Chunky!

I have to say the 9! It was my first love and probably my most used Becker.

I had a period in life where I may have said 16 (when I first got it), but I don't think I've ever had more fun than with my 9. I love the blade design, just the aesthetics of it. I love the feel of the handle with the 3/16 blade stock. Length is long enough for chopping, batoning, hacking. Blade is thin enough for most fine wood work.

Thanks, Uncle Ethan!

The 11. It's small enough to anywhere with me but big enough to do most things pretty well.
This is how I feel, the 11 is more then enough most of the time and small enough to always have.
Love it
If I know I will need a knife I might bring my 10 or 16 but the 11 can still come along to play. If I don't know I will need more knife the 11 has never let me down.

ooooh I'd have to say my BK2, love that knife. Everyone's first comment is "Wow it's thick" :D lol It's always with my hiking and camping, and hasn't let me down yet. I've enjoyed modding it over and over again and it jus keeps impressing me with it's versatility. A close second would be my BK9 followed by the BK7. I haven't used a BK10 yet but seems to be a good favourite, might have to invest in one this Chrissy ;)
