What is your favorite Benchmade?

Skirmish and Mini Skirmish ...long may they continue to be available on the second hand market!

There are a few Benchmades that I like a lot:

-550 Griptilian. It was my first BM, it's still one of my favourite EDCs. Great knife at a good price.

-440 Osborne Opportunist (without the ugly clip!). I bought this one for urban use, but it ended up getting used outdoors as well. I love it, it's really light and slim. The blade shape is really handy. I'm a huge fan of non-tactical one hand openers.

-943 Osborne, I bought this one by mistake and I was a bit underwhelmed when it arrived. But I decided to give it a try and was pleasently surprised. It's a fantastic package, great design and ergonomics, very useful blade (mine is a plain edge clip point) and really light. I love the coating on the aluminum handle, it has a warm feeling to it.

-740 Dejavoo. My smoothest liner lock folder. The deep carry clip is great. If I were forced to keep a single folding knife this would probably be it.

:D

But it's my user. Bought it 7 maybe 8 years ago.

Maybe you guys could help?

G10 or micarta slabs. Thumb stud is of the round disc variety. Blade is ~3" or so, tanto style, no finish. On one side of the blade it says "balisong" (inside benchmade butterfly) and on the other side "Elishewitz design" is printed.

Takes a good edge and is well made.

The 610 Rukus is my fav Benchmade. In fact, it's my favorite knife of any brand. My previous fav Benchmade was the 710.

I know everyone loves it, but i think the mini-grip is cursed for me... i loaned one to a no longer friend who brought it back with a broken tip, i got it replaced, the blade wouldn't center without tightening it to the point where it couldnt open and it was later stolen... a run of bad luck i guess

my favorite thought would be the mini-skirmish and mini-dejavoo, very sleek, very sexy

BM 43 of course :D

Absolutely, sir. I was lucky enough to find one through a dealer NIB recently, and it's just fantastic.

For EDC I'll also second the 930 kulgera, but it's the only BM I have that's not a bali. The only downside is that it's so... pretty. I'm not one to keep my knives pristine, but man, that's an attractive blade.

Pretty sure that's a Stryker
