What is your favorite blade type?

I simply love my BM44s!!! But also on the dream list is a high-hollow and a bowie.

In the middle of making a modified spear-point as I speak. I like 5" , does anybody else.? BTW spear-point will be latchless.

Kind regards,
Sabo

Hi!

Just gotta say that i'm a tanto fan, as some of you know...
And also a wee-hawk fan, that wee-hawk that Dawkind has is absolutely x-tremely beautiful.

BUT, i want an tanto wee-hawk, with ti handles, ok, maybe it's hard to flip, but it has got THE looks!

And Gollnick! if you get bored with your BM 44 knives, drop me an e-mail...

Dawkind: what model is that Balisong Company balisong in the pic you posted???

I realy like the high hollow clippoint style. A knife to me needs to be a supper cutter.

On the of edge type, plain edge wins for me, allway. 50/50 edge suck, they are the worst of both worlds. Better to have full seration, that way you can better make use off its strenght as a slicer. But I can sharpen a blade pretty good so plain edge is top for me. Best allround edbe type.

I basically like all types of blades, but right now, I'm leaning away from weehawks right now because that is the type of almost all of my balisongs. In terms of function, like Gollnick pointed out, weehawks are one of the best to manipulate along with clip blades. I hope I like my BM-42 though.

It's a VERY EARLY WeeHawk of the Jody Sampson ground variety!

Wouldn't a kriss blade with full serrations on both sides be cool??

Maybe not so practical... and not very easy to make...

My favorite is the classic clip point bowie. Then the weehawk and way down on my list would be a tanto. I don't own a tanto bali but I don't like tantos in general(especially chisel ground) and I don't think they would fly very well. Fully serrated would be nice

since I no longer see any point to partials.
All or nothing that's how it has to be.

Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get me.

Would dearly love to see a 4-5" traditionally forged keris, likely to be very heavy though. I wonder what type of handle would match that ...

Yeah, well, people ... They're just not my bag

A nice single recurve like the Sifu would be very very nice
