What is your favorite fighting knife?

My Spartan Ares is the closest thing that I have to a fighting knife. Not that I'd ever actually use it for that :)

Actually, my favorite knife to wear on the shoulder strap of my gear has been a Gerber Command I since 1981. It never got in the way, and the size and serrations were much handier whenever I had a parachute malfunction and had to cut away my main canopy. Best knife I ever found for that. For a backup, I've stuck with my old late-1970s Mark I's. For a heavier belt/ brush-cutting, fighting knife, I have several... my Korean-War vintage Randall, inherited from an older brother. The Kabar/ Ontario standard 7" blade knives, especially the recent Kabar with part-serrated blades. And on some up-close-and personal silent-kill situations, either my old Gerber Mark II or my early, scarce, non-serrated Command II (4-digit SN.) Combat/ field knives for Special Operations guys, as I've noted, vary depending on what knife is needed for the job at hand. I realize that a bunch of my combat knives are worth a good bit of money, but to me they're like firearms-- tools of the trade that get used, not stuck away in boxes ... RLTW/ DOL

I actually am a necromancer. So I don’t fight with knives. Rather I pull zombies from the ground who do my fighting for me. However I do keep a sacrificial dagger on me for spilling the blood of an innocent child which is required for my rituals.
