Out of what I own, it would have to be one of these two.

The South Fork feels really good in a reverse, blade out grip; plus it's really light if you have to run. ;)

The Busse TGLB is the knife of choice for a good old fashion back stabbing. :D

The sheepfoot blade on a 6318 pattern Case is all a good hand needs, that and the grit to use it.Regardless of the need most can't,or won't.

Knife for fighting? Grocery store steak knife. Cheap, effective, and disposable.

Knife designed as a fighter but that one wouldn't really fight with? Probably this Justin Gingrich Ranger custom of mine...

I suppose there should be a gun in the picture....:)

That's beautiful! Justin Gingrich is putting out some incredible knives AND if you're a fan of Hawks you should check out his hand forged GTI Renegade Hawk. I've taken it camping several times now and its a blast to use and out chops my larger knives.

Ontario Knives 10" tanto. Strong, heavy, fits from hand to forearm perfectly. Good for slash to defense to stab to rip.

Or my Glock 20 in 10mm.

I don't fight fair if it actually comes down to a fight.

call me ghetto, but the line of ak 47 bayonets; affordable and fine quality my favorite would be the polish variant

Folder: I'd rather NEVER use a folder in a fight, but if I had to, Spyderco Civilian. Very sharp, very nasty, and just the LOOK of the thing might be enough to deter some people.

Fixed: 2 way tie between the Southfork and Emerson Karambit. That or I'd bring a machete, all's fair in love and war!

That said, I'd rather have good running shoes or my 10mm on me. Ideally, both.

This ol' Gerber Command II has been following me around since 1983. I guess I must like it a bit.
