The Box came in early :) I ordered it from Blades Canada, they have had a couple complaints about tight axis and knives hard to open. Exactly what you want in Canada a knife that wont open too easily...

I want to thank all who participated in this tread your advises where welcome and helped me make my choice.

First impressions Everything is straight, there is no flaws in the scales, the blade and the construction is right. I would describe it shortly as a High quality yet affordable flipper, with a beautiful design and fluid action, (after adjustment). It is quite light weight, but still my pants go down faster in the bathroom with it ;). The satin finish and grind of the blade are well accomplished. The scales are very light and feel a bit cheap to the touch but their rigidity is irreproachable. The pocket clip is amazingly strong, the least I could say. The knife was shaving sharp out of the box and I decided that I would try the factory's edge before doing anything.

So it was a very good surprise and I'm very happy with the purchase at this point.

It is quite easy to get a hold how to use it, and I (shlick!) don't understand (Shlack!) why (Shlick!) Peoples (Shlack!) find them Fidgety ??? (Shlick!)... (Shlack!)... (Shlick!)... (Shlack!)... (Shlick!)... (Schlack!).....

I believe this is going to be a great and fun EDC knife.

(Shlick!)...
I have the same knife (bought from the same place) and it is a great knife IMO. The scales do feel and look a bit cheap but they are solid and will last.

Be careful when flipping it open and closed though... my Axis lock BMs have cut me more than once.

Check out a deep carry clip. I love it on my Grip.

Kerswaw ..... Priced for any one and they come in many colors shapes and sizes but maybe not the best blade steel.

Spyderco with Benchmade right behind them. For higher end, Ferrum Forge.

Benchmade has great customer service. They make a great product and I have confidence knowing if I need them for something like a clip, a new blade, screws and so on they have my back.

I am left handed and love the Axis lock. My first big knife purchase was a large Griptilian. My wife carries a pink mini grip daily.

Favorite? Out of all mentioned I chose Spyderco based on use alone. It was a toss up though between Spyderco and CRK followed by Emerson, Microtech and Reate. I chose Spyderco because I only own 6 CRK (maybe 7-8 by the end of next month) and I own/ed dozens of Spydercos. I have quite a few Emersons because I love their designs but don’t carry/use them as much. I collect Socom Elites but don’t consider Microtech my top brand. And Reate is the new kid on the block. They’ve quickly become one of my favorites but not the top.

Spyderco with BM right behind them.

Back in my younger days before I bought and carried more expensive folders $100+ I would have voted for Kershaw. I still own all my Kershaws and carry some on occasion. They are still a great budget knife.

Spyderco has a large range of knives from very expensive down to below 40 dollars. I carry a native 5. I also have a raven 2 which is a very good inexpensive knife. Benchmade would be my next choice. The grip I had was one of if not the best knife I've owned

As a traditionalist and for the love of belt sheath carried knives i of course voted Buck( of which i have many)
And as of yesterday i now am carring a new Buck 112 Ranger Automatic in a codora sheath (its lighter and rides closer to the body than the leather). I carry the 112 LT at work. I rate Buck customer service tops.
Occasionally when i carry in the pocket i carry a Spyderco (i own several).
Kershaw, SOG, Byrd(cheaper Spyderco) Victorinox just to mention a few.
Really thought Buck should be higher but y’all must be too young lol

depends on the month/week/day/hour - I switch out to my new favorite often
