What is your favorite Wharncliffe bladed knife?

Ed I was just kiddin but I have to say I enjoy seeing the knife every time. It's a classic and the bone on yours is just perfect. I picked up this little Queen a while back to try out the pattern but I gotta say I still like yours better than mine...knife envy is a terrible thing :p

That Queen half whittler there is mighty fine! Love abalone and pearl myself. - EJ

Thanks Ed, but I tell ya that D2 is something else and trying to get a good edge on the tiny little pen blade is giving me fits.

Wow, I really like the look of those Ohtas. What is the length of some of those closed/opened?

Cnas122, back on page 1, what is the handle material on the first knife photo you posted? That is quite stunning.

My fave wharnie? That's tought one as I love Wharncliffe. I think you mean Wharncliffe as main blade and not secondarym, which rules out Dan Burke small Barlow... I'd say this:

GEC 4 blade congress with 2 wharncliffes, 2 pen blades and bloodred jigged bone... Or MIchael Morris Wharncliffe friction folder... which I don't have picture... go figures...

WOW! So many great knives in this thread. I do not carry a Wharncliffe very often but I do I have a few:

That is one of my favorite knives that I've ever seen on this site. I can't imagine having to part with it if it were mine.

A pair of old wharncliffe pen knives......the pearl is a New York Knife Co and the aluminum is a Waterville. The NYK is 3 1/4" closed and the Waterville is 2 7/8". The aluminum is hand engraved. Barry

I'm not sure I have a single favorite so here are a couple of mine. Big fan of Elliot's Texas Jack and Campbell's Tennessee Jack as well.

Trand the bone on the first slimline trapper is incredible! That bowtie shield really hits the spot too, great looking knife.
