For the purpose of this thread we are considering all materials that are similar to zytel or FRN.

Without a doubt, Spydie Endura, hands down! Just was using it the other day and still as sweet as ever. -Rick

Spyderco Snap-It.

Runner up is the will be the Delica (VG-10, when they are available.

Hands down the Spyderco Endura! Although I do have a soft spot for the old Benchmade Panther.

Tough question. Probably the Cold Steel Medium Voyager Tanto. Close behind would be any of the Spyderco lighweights, esp the Delica and Matriarch.
Thanks,
Matt

Ditto on the Cold Steel medium Voyager. I carry the tanto in my left pocket (with the clip removed) and the clip point clipped to my right pocket.

Either the BM350 or the Spyderco Goddard Ltwt.

I really had to dig to find one...and I found only one. My dad gave it to me 10-15 years ago, a tiny Schrade pen.

I found stag, bone, antler and mostly metal.

Ooops, found another. Carson F4 in BG-42...does G-10 count? I have a small piece of mammoth ivory, I might have to convert it....:)

I REALLY DON'T like plastic.

First choice my Cold Steel XL Voyager clip point (old style clip:) BIG, Light,Strong and Sharp )
Second, and close to first would be my 10 year old Spyderco Endura. It's the go everywhere do anything knife.

My favorite is a Spyderco Delica. I carry it every day and it is the one that I allow the Sheeple to see. Even so, some of them are freaked out by it. I also always carry something a little bigger in case the need arises for some serious social work. My favorite big Zytel handled knife is the Cold Steel extra large voyager. Interestingly, while both knives have AUS-8 blades, the Spyderco holds an edge significantly better than the Voyager.

CS medium Voyagers, one clip, one tanto. Zytel is light, extremely strong, and seems to have a natural lubricity. Both my Voyagers flip open as easy as an old Zippo and show no signs of wear or wobble after thousands of openings.

For me it is still my old and abused Spyderco Snap-it (the one with the carabiner-like hook). It is really light and yet strong, the serrations keep cutting, the Aus8 steel holds a nice edge, doesn't rust. The hook is so easy, clipped on my beackpack d-ring, beltloop, pocketseam, lifejacket, ... It simply doesn't fall off.
For really active use, there is in my opinion, not a better way to carry a folder.
