Sorry David. It really is a nice machete. My oldest played a little fruit ninja with it while we were camping.

I used my Parang I was given at the British Army Jungle School in Brunei a lot. For going to the field I used a Chinese all steel machete, the kind where the handle is the steel rolled into a circle. I just put some OD 100 MPH tape on the handle. Sheath was OD, with three fasteners, overall length was 16 1/2 inches with a 11 1/2 inch blade. I like it as it fitted on the side of my ALICE large rucksack, behind the side pocket. Mine came out of a base Camp in Cambodia, that a friend had been at, gave it to me brand new. I sold it to a collector after I retired, he got a bargain as I see one on Ebay:
