What is your Gentleman carry?

My wife gave me one of those little stainless steel pen knives that you get at the engraving shops in malls (bless her heart for good intentions). it has a pen blade, scissors, screwdriver, nail file, and has my name engraved on it. I have a little pocket sewn into my service and dress uniform trousers that keeps the knife upright and along the seam so that it doesn't print. I just got a BM Mel Pardue gent w/ pearl scales. I have to see if it will fit in the pocket. I've resigned my Hubertus pen blade release to suit jacket pocket carry since it opened in my trouser pocket and I stabed myself in the hand. Ouch!!

If wearing a jacket I would have a full sized Spydie Wegner and/or Spydie Rookie with out the clip.

When wearing a suit coat i usually have a Spyderco worker with the Ti handles that came out a few years ago. It is small and does not raise a stink if it's use is needed but tucked into the back of my trousers is my trusty CQC-7a never leave home w/o it. Also i will have my Glock 19 in a Galco Combat Master too. If i need to bring it out a stink has already been raised if you know what i mean. You all have good knives though.

Benchmade Mel Pardue 330 Pearl tucked in the jacket pocket.
It's the perfect suit knife, looks nice so it doesn't attract all the wrong attention, cuts everything I need to cut and it's small and slim so it doesn't ruin the cut of the suit - unlike me!

Well I gotta agree that any of Frank Recupero's modified folders or a nice William & Henry makes outstanding gent's knives. But like Will Fennell's suggestion, another modest folder I like is the Buck 532 in any flavors although one I have dressed in mastadon ivory scales and mirror polished everything is a knockout. This is the only Buck folder, currently available, that comes from the factory with file work... has BG-42 steel to boot. Carried in a pocket pouch sheath works for me!

My "suit" knife or as I like to call it my "church" knife is my plain edge Pegasus, engraved by Brooks Burt. Very nice, small and cute.

I usually carry a William Henry CF Lancet with my suit. Other times I carry an Amber Bone Kestrel.

Rogers, I think the BM 330 is perfect.

If it was Left handed, I would have a regular, a pearl and a carbon fiber plain edge.

Being Left Handed has saved me a lot of money.

I also like the Mel Pardue 330 for dressier, more low-key occassions. Today I just picked up a limited edition Pardue 330 with carbon fiber handles. I think I'll be carrying this little guy for ALL occassions.

It's an Elishewitz Ares with Damasteel blade, Mokume bolsters and pearl scales. It also has a lot of file work. Perfect for the suit.

The Elishewitz knives are pretty thick and rugged. If I want something a little downsized from my Ares, I carry a Chris Reeve Umfaan. It's been fun seeing what others carry as a "dress" knife. Take care.
