What is your grail knife and do you own it?

I don't own it... 😭

My grail knife was a Jason Knight bowie which I owned for a couple of years and just never used because it was so gorgeous. I really like user knives so it was replaced by a Mike Diebert chopper (awesome knife) which is on my belt in the woods often. My grail blade I hope to obtain sometime is a CPK HDFK.

I still can't post a photo but I just recieved my Henckel Mushrat pocket knife from ebay and this is the all time best pocket knife I've ever owned. I've had 2 others that since 1969 until about 10 years ago I wore out cleaning game and I've looked for one since. Now at an older age I doubt I'll wear this one out but I will cherish it until the wife gives it to the nephew.

There's a ZT 501 on the auction site for $500,go grab it if you want one.

Every time I think I have a grail knife Melissa Backwater makes another video of a billion-fafillion gagillion shab-ab-dood-illion... yen (😜) dollar knife that reminds me there's no end to the madness.

I thought my Alan Davis custom was my grail, and had I ordered it direct from him with my choice of design and materials it might have been. It's a gorgeous knife for sure, however I got it on the exchange.

My new R&H Knives Tasca 2 I ordered from the maker in my choice of damasteel and handle choice. This knife is more stout than my Davis, and I'm not afraid to use it. It is my grail, and it's been in my pocket for 9 days.

I have a small but unique accumulation/collection and there are only a few knives I'm interested in now.

My disdain for full Ti helps eliminate many knives.

I have a bunch grail knives, that's the problem. Once you get one there's always another beckoning you just around the corner. I should have just taken up heroin instead of knife collecting. Probably would have been an easier habit to kick. Cheaper too.

One of the things I am considering after teaching.. Tiffany's offers paid residency in carving, but you have to stay 2 years at like $20/hr working in NYC, once you do though you can make those designs on anything!

Have You ever held an HDFK, it’s an amazing knife. The SDFK is no slouch and compares quite well with HDFK.

The knife in the lower picture is a CPK 7 inch utility fighter one off.... there was only one made. Definitely my grail knife. I don't own it and most likely never will.
The clip point is a Mark Scrimgeour cr35 also known as a reaper. It's in second place, but not by much.
Both are very cool in my book.Screenshot_20231228-162452_Chrome.jpg
