What is your ideal EDC Multitool?

The Victorinox Mountaineer and Leatherman Juice CS4 are my favorite, in production tools. If I could get a CS4 with a file instead of a saw I think I would reach multitool nirvana.

A full-size tool with the "Big 4" implements; Saw/File/Scissors/Knife.

This includes the SOG Paratool, Leatherman Blast, Victorinox Spirit and the Gerber Diesel.

Have to bring something traditional in here :D
Here is my favorite 'multitool'

The vic pioneer/wenger SI is another great EDC multitool (I carry my CeeTees in my back pocket anyway :P).

It's a rotation for me. Sometimes governed by what kind of work I am expecting for the day. Day to day walk around combo is the Skeletool CX with a Laguiole. It gives me plenty of tools to do the odd job with a nice sheeple friendly slippie to cut with (honestly, i could get by with the just the CX, but I like the laguiole to much to leave it at home:D)
Heavy duty outdoor work means that I want all the tools that I could need with good strong pliers. Therefore, I carry a SOG powerlock.
Today, I expect to have to work on a few electric motors, so I'm packing a LM Crunch with a serrated Spyderco for cardboard duty.

I carried my Diesel today. Great tool:thumbup:

Dang it if I can figure out what my favorite is. I'm a desk jockey and don't actually need a serious multitool like you HVAC guys and plumbers do, but still find a multi helpful throughout the day. I tend to rotate between a Wave or Spirit, Vic Explorer and Squirt P4. Mostly the Explorer, as its a good combo of pocket size and function for me.

Right now, I'm carrying my Vic Spirit. For light every day type carry, I really like the Leatherman Skeletool.

I alternate between a Vic Pioneer and an Explorer in my pocket. I keep a Vic Cybertool 41 and SwissTool RS w/the bitwrench set in my laptop bag.

most of the time it is my swisstool- man i love that hunk of metal. i am also looking at a skeletool though, or maybe another of the small leathermans.

It's my Leatherman Charge TTi.

I love the one handed opening tools and also the ablility to wear it with a pocket-clip if I want to.

My Leatherman Juice s2 probably fits the bill...compact, sturdy, has all the tools I need and carries easily. I'm still very partial to my SwissChamp, Wave and SwissTool but the s2 gets the nod for EDC.

Been totin my SOG Powerlock for 1 1/2 years EDC in its leather sheath. I use it daily at work. It has the heft I need and the simple stuff to get the job done. Lighter or smaller multi-tools just wouldn't hold up to what I have put it through, I've seen others break. It's the one that works for me.
