What Is Your Job?

We do, except when we have to communicate with the challenged. Only the US and the Republic of Tonga are metrically illiterate...

HAHA, I feel your pain. I'm on SAR and we stricly use UTM/ MGRS (I suck at math and metric is much easier for me so this works well). The only people who don't speak our language are pilots. We have to convert everything to Lat/ Long anytime we call an airplane or helo. Lowest common denominator I guess. :D:p

Surprised to see so many of the Brethren out here...

The 'official' title is: Sergeant of Correctional Officers

The 'unofficial' title is: Flathead Screw

I'm thinking of having business cards made up with "Professional Screw" on them...I can't decide whether it'd be more likely to get me laid or arrested, though...D'OH!!!

Head saleman at a womens hip-boot store.

OK, actually, in the dim and distant past I was an electronics engineering technologist for a major aerospace corporation, until they RIF'd me (Reduction In Force) after 25 years.

Now I'm a Linux/UNIX system administrator for a well-known US-based international computing corporation.

It pays the bills.

Unemployed at the moment, but I've been assistant manager of the knife end for a 40-year-old seasonal business in Bar Harbor for the past four years. The season will be starting up again soon, and then after my lady and I get hitched this fall I'm joining the Air Force, hopefully to do SERE.

Full time University student majoring in Psychology for Profiling purposes. Looking into a career with the FBI; also probably going to be in Uni for 5 years doing an MS/BS programme.

Automotive technician (mechanic), at a GM dealer(sinking)ship.......

Veterinary technician at a Major Pharma Company's R&D Department. Work mostly with primates now (hence the Avatar).

This is Vixen, my 2 1/2 year old Mal. She's dope certified but I'm not lucky enough to be a K-9 handler full time (I'll put in for it next time a slot opens).

Please tell me you don't have one of those sissy GSD's. :D:D:D

I've been delivering flowers for the last month. Once the weather breaks I will be cuttin grass again. Oh well it put some food on the table.

I'm into DRUGS. Worked for 34+ years in a large pharmaceutical company. Was the Lead Maintenance Specialist. Kept the production area running. Machines and processes. Now RETIRED! Best part of Life.

Can tell economy is going south, many who have been laid off:(
I am a journeyman electrician. Construction is being very slow right now, but as of today I'm blessed to have a job.

Thanks Moromotom! :D They are a handfull, that's for sure. We have two in our family. I put a picture of Thor, our 5 year old male, in the dog pictures thread. At the local trainings where all the agencies bring their dogs there is an ongoing "battle" between the GSD fans and the Mal fans. They are both great breeds for the job but I'm firmly entrenched in the Mal camp. :D I've got a nice big scar on my leg as a testiment to the awesomeness of Mals. :D:cool:
