What is your monthly or yearly knife budget?

My girlfriend agreed to ONLY $100 per month but with a rollover effect. So, if I buy a knife for $80 in June, I will get to buy a $120 knife in July.

I don't have a monthly or even a yearly budget, but I won't spend much over $100 on any one knife.

For the several knives I do have on my radar to buy that are readily available, I try to space them out and hold off as long as I can before caving in, because I know as soon as I get them, I'll find a reason to get more.

This strategy helps me use and appreciate the knives I already own. And by resisting my impulses, I've also avoided getting something that I later would've regretted.

Up until recently, I was saving $100 a month, dipping into the pot whenever something caught my eye. But the car-bug bit me again, and the knife fund has become the parts fund.

So she's already telling you how to spend the money and you're not even married yet? On the positive side, she's ok with knives.

I used to budget myself, but then I noticed that there was always something I wanted that was just out of my range. Now I just sell off knives I have to fund new ones.

about 300$ month. this month however around 2500$ (build up my inventory) but i usually tire of my knives quick and resell them. so there is a bit of money recycling going on.

Knife budget? Just glad you didn't bring up guns and ammo expenses.

Need some spare cash? Trade crude futures for a day, bag $20k, and spend all you want

At the moment I am unemployed and applying for the sheriffs office. She loves knives almost as much as I do. So yeah, She buys my....cough...OUR knives for the moment. She fears the day my pockets are full because back when I had a job, it was a new knife whenever I wanted and it soon will be again.

I usually just buy whatever I've been eyeballing for a while.

Last year, I had a few impulse buys such as my Busse Fatty Ash-1 from blade show and a Swamp Rat Rodent Waki.

I'm really not interested in folders as my two Sebenzas has really kept me happy. I purchased a small plain sebenza 21 last summer. It has kept me happy until yesterday. Yesterday I purchased a small CRK Insingo Sebenza.

I think I will be good until next year! ;) (We will see how long that lasts....)

No budget per se. When I see something I really want I will save up for it. It depends on how much how much OT I work and I might treat myself.

Whatever I can set aside - usually, I'll repurpose my beer money, sell a knife or two that I don't use, take take an extra shift at work, whatever. I don't buy my knives according to a schedule or anything, so I don't set aside a specific amount for them in my budget - if I find one I really want, then I'll start putting money aside for it.

$0. I'm a broke student as well.

If I'm able to get a job this summer, it might change, but I desperately need to save money for a car.

No budget just find a way to get what ever I really want. I am not a collector. I do stack up about 3-4k worth of toys per year and knives are usually about 600-800 of that, the rest is fishing rods, reels and guns.

I spent about $550 on knives since the beginning of the year. Then May came along and sucked out an additional $750 from my bank account. I'm probably going to cool it for awhile now, unless something really cool catches my eye that is. ;)
