  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What is your opinion on the "R"?

Other than size and weight, I guess the "R" appeals to me because of its clean cut-out design. Think it'll look even nicer with the spydie logo cut-out!

I just ordered and received the "R" that I mentioned earlier in this thread.

I really like it. It's amazing that a knife that big can be so light! It's definitely a collector's knife (it's also very sharp and usable). Everyone who looks at it is impressed.

Sal et al, thanks for another excellent addition to my small but growing Spyderco collection.

Hmmm, looks like I'm totally left out! Gotta get one too!

I have an "R" and I love it. Never carry it but sometimes I sit and look at it for minutes at a time. It is a great lightweight knife but I just don't wqant to mess it up. I also have 17 different "Q"s. The "R" is a much higher quality piece.
