What is your personal favorite handle material(s)?

Definitely lacewood after having seen it in person.

G10, Carbon Fiber.

I would love to have a Bark River Bravo Survivor in cocobolo wood with a nice pattern.

My favorite handle material?

Overall, it would be micarta, G10 or FRN. It really depends upon the knife.

Normally, I try to avoid metal handles but, there are exceptions (SAK Alox, for example). Also, I have seen a couple of knives with lightening strike carbon fiber that I thought were pretty cool but, as a rule, I stay away from CF. Wood and leather handles are fine on some knives. Like I said, it really depends upon the knife.

My favorite handles are generally as follows:

- traditionals - some form of wood scales
- modern knives - carbon fiber, titanium, or titanium and carbon fiber
- fixed blades - either really well done wood scales, or else G-10 in an attractive color (for me, green or orange usually)

I have outliers to these naturally, but my favorite knives in my collection all generally follow the above guidelines.

Pics or didn't happen. ;)

I once held a knife with a handle made from it. But, considering they are extinct in the wild, I doubt I will ever have one, unless I can find an amoral scale maker here.
