What is your prefered blade length on an EDC right pocket folder?

I prefer knives for EDC to be between 2.5" - 3" because I just don't need anything bigger and have found that this size works for almost anything. They won't chop a tree down or provide self defense but that not why I carry a knife.

+1

Of course the other two blades on my stockman slippie can be smaller

For me 4" feels perfect, but right now I 'm carry'in my 610 Ruckus so the extra .25 is all good.......

I like 3" to 3.5" as well. It's the perfect compromise between comfortable to carry and large enough for tough jobs.

I prefer 3.50 or maybe a bit longer. Smaller than that starts to become limiting in what it can do, 4 inches or longer starts to become unessesarily large for what I use an EDC for.

3" is best for me. Anything bigger is not comfortable in the pcoket, and I don't need the extra blade length.

For an EDC 2.75" to 3.125" max is my pref in a folder although I can carry longer at times quite comfortable. Today I have my Mini Hardtail BM folder at 3.25" and its no problem.

Never measured it, but whatever's on my Schrade Old Timer 33OT Middleman Jack. Thin and sharp as hell, it recently outperformed my SE Endura in cutting up cardboard boxes from some furniture we just had delivered. True story.

I like 3.25 and would like to see more made at this size. There's always the big, the small and rarely a mid size folder in many of my favorites.
