Probably these guys. The Medford Praetorian T is a sold out DLT exclusive in S90V, possibly the only one in this exact configuration and steel. The HQ exclusive PM2 Tanto in M4 that sold out in an hour and will likely never be offered again, and the OG Lava in SS that is nearly 15 years old and I can't find for sale anywhere after a quick search. Threw in a couple honorable mentions with the very hard to find in stock TRM Atom and only 800 made Manix 2 LW in 20CV. I also have a 2018 Microtech Socom Elite manual in M390, which are a bit of a pain to find.

Nothing crazy, but I have a few cool pieces.

I have a number of one offs, mostly custom, but this one is pretty special. From back in the day, when there was a bit more charity on this site.

Wow! That's a handsome Bowie! Such nice "old-school" sambar stag.

As far as factory production goes I have two Schrade knives that come to mind. One is a jigged-bone Schrade-I*XL Commemorative Stockman with a Wharncliffe blade instead of a sheepfoot. I think it was likely a sample knife. It could well be a one-off. Pictured with a 2-1/4" Schrade Cut Co friend.

The second is a sambar stag Bowie expressly marked "1 of 1". It has a gold-etched, blued and mirror-polished, carbon-steel blade.

It's hard to say.

I have collected many "modern" knives made from the early 1970's to early 2000's - mostly Kershaw, ZT and Spyderco, which seem to be quite rare based on the lack of them available for resale on EB and other 2ndary markets and the price demanded for them when they show up.

However, the "rarest" (but certainly not the most expensive) is probably a CRKT Tighe Tac 2 Auto Conversion. It was sold thru The Knife Center, BHQ (and I assume other CRKT dealers) but I had never heard it mentioned, on the Net, let alone seen it offered for resale anywhere.

So, it's my guess that it's the "rarest" knife of any that I own, even going back to the early 70's.

I have a bunch of one off customs that are rare of course, because they are 1 of 1.

Out of the stuff that used to be available, these two are pretty rare. I’ve only ever seen one of the fixed blade for sale and I bought it.

Cheyenne Hawk. Predecessor to the Lakota Hawk before they were forced to change the name. Mr Hoffman told me about 100 were produced before they were giving the court order to change the name
When was that? I have a Lakota Hawk but I have had it for some time. I think I bought it in 1998.

A knife commemorating Olympic Games that never were, because of the War. The Summer Games of 1940 that were to be held in Helsinki, Finland. Not sure how rare these are, but I haven’t seen one previously. Maybe they are numerous in Finland. This one I believe was acquired by my paternal grandfather, who spent time as a conscript soldier in the Swedish army guarding the border to Finland during the war.

Another souvenir from the Olympics that never happened.....
A Marttiini Olympia, one of the nicest Marttiini ever made.
