What is your sliciest knife?

WOW Marci, that was deep. Working your way back into GD with caution I see. :p As to slicing, the Mora 2000 is my best non-kitchen fixed and the Chambriard compagnon folder. :cool:

So you like the Mora as a slicer? I always found scandi ground knives great for shallow "draw" slicing, but not so great for slicing through something thicker, like a carrot or an onion.
 
The 2000 has a different grind (especially the last 1/3 or so) from most Moras. It works really well for me, mostly when trimming and cutting up ribs. :D
 
Barring kitchen knives and Opinels, I have a few inexpensive folders that I reground to full height hollows and they slice like crazy. My Mora Pro Flex does a nice job as well.
 
My Spyderco Delica 4. It's the knife I reach for when I have fine butcher work to do.
