Easy answer... Spyderco ladybug, absolutely no arm fatigue. :p

But in all honesty anything INFI with a 6+inch blade will be plenty...

This choice changes from month to month. Right now I would grab my Blackjack 125, but I would have my SAK in my pocket. It's always there. I tend to think in terms of a three blade system. Been using my new Condor Pack Golok a fair amount and I like it. So I would take that along as my chopper in addition to the 125 and SAK.

One knife? My ESEE Laser Strike. Couldn't let go of my newest precious :D

Id also grab my Wetterlings Forest Axe. You know, for taking down trees n stuff.

My survival knife is the one I'm carrying. Which varies, according to the rotation.

^^^ This 100%...

Most pics seem to be of unused, un-tested safe queens that only got brought out for pictures. How can anyone say a knife is their "favourite" if they've never used it to truly see how it performs, ergonomics of the knife, how durable it is etc...

Let's see more pics of used, even abused knives here that have proven their status as hard use/survival blades!

I can't speak for everyone, but if a knife is well cared for it can be used a lot and yet not appear to be beaten up and trashed. A good example of that is the thread in the Himalayan Imports forum where a member posted pictures of an M-43 khukuri that was used as a primary blade for bush living over several years and yet, because it was well cared for, looks almost new. Here's the thread: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1041119-My-Famous-M43-Kukri

I hear what you're saying Torm and agree. My previous post was aimed at those who've posted pics of knives that are obviously BNIB; those ones really tick me off only because I view them as posers essentially. They've not used the knife that is being heralded as the "ultimate" survival/BOB knife, yet somehow claim it's the best choice for the job. Or, if the photos are old ones of the knife when it was new they could specify that they do not have more current user pics (if that's applicable).

Anyway, I'm probably overthinking this entire situation... :foot:

On topic, I'd feel extremely comfortable with only this Scrapyard SOD with me as my "one and only" ultimate, uber extreme survival knife. I've been carrying it with me on trail walks at night and it makes clearing a path or crafting a temporary walking stick pretty.
