What is your travel knife or knives?

Always a SAK. Sometimes I just ship one to where I'm staying, and then gift it to someone when I leave. If I check my bag, I don't worry about a SAK being stolen. I can get another at the next big box store I come to.

I don't really fly much. Last time I think I just took a Victorinox classic. Since all my knives fit in a like 3x4x8 box, if I'm driving I'll just throw them in the back of my truck.

What do you guys do when your knife got stolen in the checked luggage? Do you report it? I assumed, you never see it again even if it is reported :(

Last time I flew, I took a Vic Rambler with me. I did just fine for three or four days.

Wearing a size 15 shoe I always have to check a bag, and I hide my knives in my shoes then put socks in the shoes so no one will see them. My most recent trip I brought my lionsteel SR1 and Spyderco dragonfly.

I'm gonna take that idea!

If I'm riding or driving to the destination then its an EDC clipped to a front pocket and one of my Busses' in my pack. If I'm flying then I'll always pack a Leatherman Squirt P4 and, depending on the destination, an EDC with no sentimental value in my checked luggage (usually a Spyderco Tasman Salt).

The last time I flew I put a Izula in my check in bag. If car it's one of my EDC knives and a small fixed blade. Or just a Bud Nealy Pesh-Kabz and a victorinox pioneer.
