what is your you go to knife.

I just adore my large sebenza 21. I try to edc some of my other knives but I find I am always missing my sebenza. It is the perfect knife to me having all the features that I love:

1) The titanium handle. I have a thing for titanium. I just really like the color, feel and wear it gets over time. I loved titanium before I even got into knives

2) The bladeshape. It is just perfect for me. It slices well and is long enough to do what I need it to do. It also has a very useful point for picking slivers or cutting hang nails or whatever. It just works for me

3) The thumbstud. I really like thumbstuds and the sebenza has one that is perfect for my fingers.

4) The lock up. It locks solid and feels great. It is also easy to open and close one handed which is a huge plus for me.

5) A great warranty and nice company. Thanks Chris

So yeah, the sebenza is the perfect knife for me. I feel lie it was custom built just for me. It ma have been expensive but was totally worth it for me

Lately I've been sticking with my Buck Vantage Select, and a Buck Prince. Ocasionnally I'll take either of my Kershaw's Storms. But the Bucks are ridding my pockets more and more often.

I'm sure something better will come along. But for now I'm doing just fine.

For a few years I couldn't live w/o, and carried a couple of SAK's until I lost them; and later a Gerber Torch (drop point), until I gave to a younger brother.

That is a HARD question to commit an answer to but I would have to say my trusty Sage 2 with the Gayle Bradley a close second.

Easy question. This and a SAK (for the tools) have been my carry combo for a year now.

So far my got knives as far as folders are is the Spyderco Para Military D2 and the S30V Military. The fixed blades are RAT RC-4 and RAT Izula (Not ESEE but original RAT)

im trading knives so much i have had one that i have carried constantly for a long time, but this week its my SMF...but ill probably trade it soon...my para D2 will be around for a very long time, so that is my current "go to" knife

The one knife that finds it's way into my pocket more than any is probably my small JYD Pro Series. It fits my day to day needs on an extraordinary level. It's such a great knife.

Pretty much every knife I use gets compared to the Gayle Bradley and pretty much every other knife I own is found wanting.

I have sold off most of my expensive folders such as Hinderer XM-18, Chris Reeves and Striders. I carry all Spyderco's now and the one that gets the most pocket time is the FFG G10 Manix2 or the Gayle Bradley.
If it is a fixed blade then it's a Bark River. None specific.

Picked up this beauty about a month ago. It has un-seated all my others as my "go to knife" In fact I used to have a rotation......but now this one is the ONLY one I carry!

There has been a Benchmade 950 Rift in my front right pocket for over 3 years. Lately it is the M4 but the 154CM version with multicolored G10 still gets carried sometimes.

For me its my Leek. What I love about it is that it is so sleek, you don't feel like you're carrying anything. (I hate the bulging pockets feeling. For years I didn't even carry a wallet.)

I carry my umnumzaan all the time. Only time I don't carry it is to school and when i go to the bar. I don't want to lose it....:D

For a decent chunk of this year, it's been the Ph Magnum, (with custom serrations done by Mikey V, himself, which have proven to be great), currently used as my avatar, but now I'm going back into knife-gypsy mode and rotating again.
