what is your you go to knife.

I have three EDCs that are usually in rotation as far as folder. A Lone Wolf Diablo, a Lone Wolf Warrior and a CRKT Anubis auto. I also have been carrying a ESEE Izula and a BRKT Bumblebee.

Just added a Spartan Enyo to my collection, will EDC that for a while.

Incredible Slippies you got there.

It is usually a toss up between these. They are quite capable of handling the day to day cutting tasks I encounter.

(they do not look as fresh now.)

One from Ken Erickson.

Mike Zscherny made this one.

Case made this swayback designed by Tony Bose. They did a great job on this pattern.

And one more by Ken for good measure.

I just convexed and added belly to my Mineral Mountain Hatchet Works Farm and Ranch. Since then it has been the first thing i my hand when I need to make a cut. Before that it was my BRKT Bravo Necker.

For me it is a SAK + a multitool.

I EDC a Victorinox Cybertool & a Leatherman Wave. These will handle most day to day tasks.
But if I am going camping then I take 2 or more fixed blades. If I am cutting at home then I grab whatever is the most suitable for the task.

The plain blade on the LM Wave and both blades on the SAK are all very easily 'shaving sharp'. They may not have the edge retention of the better steels, but I have 3 different plain edge blades - more than enough to get through a normal days tasks without having to use a blunt knife. I don't mind if I have to resharpen a blade every night - it only takes a minute or 2 on a strop.

My Victorinox Super Tinker has been riding in my pocket everyday for about a year and half now.

Full size Spyderco Persian, I purchased it when they first came out and cannot put it down, it is always with me off duty. Also I have had an Emerson Commander for about 10 years and it has taken a beating but I never go to work without it and finally my fixed blade is a Cold Steel Tanto Recon it is always attached to my field bag. This knife is like a sharpened pry bar, I have abused it in every way possible I've done things with this knife that a knife isn't designed for and it has never failed me. I have many other knives but these three keep finding their way in line ahead of the others because of the confidence I have in them.

For me, the one that I always have when out is the Vic Ranger for the tools. However, when at home, I'll ditch that on the dresser. You can count on me having a flashlight in left pocket and something like Tenacious on the right side. Used to be Emerson Commander, but traded it away.

The Mini Skirmish ends up in my pocket at least 3 days out of the workweek and it gets teamed up with the Bradley Mayhem on the weekends.
