With the exception of a day or two, over the past 6 months, it has been a Boker Titan Defender. For the past month, it has been the Lightweight Titan Defender, though "lightweight" is sorta a misnomer. Both of these are smaller knives with 3 3/8" blades, but are both
BULLDOGS with a blade that is .140" thick and titanium liners that are .100" thick. The N690Bo blade steel is razor sharp and pops the hair right off.
Now I'm a big knife kinda guy and these two Bokers are the smallest "main" knife I have carried in ages, but the feel, fit/finish, lockup, etc. etc. is so good I just can't seem to get anything else to go into my pocket.
I also have a second knife that I carry, always two knives, that is a slipjoint and has been carried constantly for nearly 5 months, a Case Humpback Whittler in black G-10. A suberb knife that actually gets 99% of the work that I need a knife to do.
But six months is a long time for me to go without a change! So on the weekends and after work, for the past two weeks, I have carried a modified Ontario Retribution I folder that I flattened the grips on, and added a pocket clip too. Whole thing slides down into my pocket because it is a foldover, deep-carry clip.
Finally, I have a custom American Lawman coming at the end of the month, built by Andrew Demko, the designer of the Cold Steel American Lawman and of the Tri-Ad Lock, that is set up for deep pocket carry and will be riding my pocket as everything else gets a rest!! This one is going to be a true GO TO KNIFE!!:thumbup:
