What It Means To Be An INFI HOG!!!! . . . .

To me being a HOG means finding the knife you have always dreamed of and then finding happiness in knowing you no longer need to search for "THE" knife anymore. Along with chopping stuff up and then shaving arm hair just to surprise people.

Boy in 6 month I have gotten 6 Busse I traded one and although I like then all I still looking for the perfect one. I think being a HOG is wanting them all. Now I want a B13olo

Being one of whom has a fascination for the timeless tool and weapon that is the "blade" and has a certain inescapable obsession with what has become the definition of metallurgical, design, and ergonomic perfection.
everything man has thrived for in a blade.....INFI :D

To me it means to be part of the Infi brotherhood , everyone of us that loves our Busse because of the encouragement to use them hard and warranty that puts its money where its mouth is .. Not to mention becoming a Hog or to be called one is quite an honor ..

I've owned 13 different models since March, still have 6. About to have the mother of all number 7 MOABM. I'm always searching several venues for Busse knives, addiction past about 4 months ago, this is pure need now...

Btw nice to see this thread revived , let's see what the definition has evolved to over the years :)

This is a typical induction:

Then party afterwards:

If I may:
It doesn't happen fast... It comes with confidence and experience. The experience of having used all sorts of blades and the confidence that comes from the knowledge that if the scat hit the fan tomorrow morning your INFI would not let you down.
You have to trust the tool. That trust has to be earned by hard use, and once that trust has formed, it's hard to look anywhere else.

I'm pretty sure that inducted or not it still means to root, trample, snort, squeal and stomp your way to the Busse steel you desire all while trying to maintain a little bit of class, decency and friendliness which is sometimes easier said than done, but thankfully owning your shortcomings that are quickly forgiven and forgotten by the other Hogs helps you learn as you grow. There's more to it than that, but others have covered it well!
