What Jeans carry your EDC?

Kuhl Klash pants are my favorite fit.
I’ve been wearing Truwerk work pants, my new favorite work pant. A bit pricey but the pocket layout is second to none. My other favorite is the 5.11 Stryke pant. They have an expandable waistband which is perfect for IWB carry.

My Tad and Duluth pants are the most comfortable pants I own. I refuse to buy any Levi’s or Carhartts anymore due to their un-American practices.

Haven't wore jeans since the 90's, though oddly enough I do wear denim shirts. When it comes to pants, I tend to find something I like, buy a bunch in various colors, and wear the same kind daily for years until I find another that suits my needs better. I like pants that have dedicated "knife pockets", though I rarely use them for knives. I clip my knife in my front pocket like normal, and find these other little side pockets ideal for things like flashlight and multi-tool. In fact, I've fount them to be the ideal way to carry a heavy multi-tool unobtrusively.

Right now and for the past few years I've gone with the Vertx Delta as my daily wear pants. I like them because they look just like regular pants but have all of the pockets that I need, and are rugged enough but comfortable. They wear pretty much like a pair of jeans (no cargo pockets), but with a touch of stretch for activity. Unfortunately Vertx doesn't always offer them in colors that I like, but the several pairs I've had from a couple of years ago in other colors have held up well.

Before those, and the ones that I still wear hiking in cold weather and when I'm doing projects, are the Tru-Spec 24/7. I find them good quality for the price, and they have convenient pockets for my needs (most importantly being the aforementioned "knife pockets"). I've even had some of these cut off and hemmed into shorts by a seamstress for summer wear, as I like my shorts to fall below the knee.

Here's the Vertx Delta (the Swisstool doesn't stick out of the pocket like that, that was just for reference in the pic)

I stopped wearing jeans 20 years ago. Too heavy, too expensive, didn't last long.
Work pants like Dickies are easy to maintain, last at least a decade.

As for carry, I just need pockets.
Dickies are worthless.
Absolutely terrible pockets and the fly is useless, but they're also not a company I like to support so maybe they have some other types of pants which I'm unaware of that don't suck ?

I like the Wrangler signature series, I like higher waist they have.
Levi's have been terrible for me, I've never had a pair that didn't split up the ass within a couple months.

I have a cousin who worked her way through college at a Levis factory in Texas. She introduced me to a small custom shop run by former Levi employees that will custom make jeans. They have been making them for me for over 40 years. No back pockets, heavyweight stretch, low cut waist, slim fit, and belt loops in the right places that can accommodate a 2" belt.

Duluth 5 pocket fire hose stretch pants are my favorites. I also appear now and then in Key bib overalls.

As an old bowlegged rancher type I have a leaning towards Wranglers. Pretty common in our deal:

I've tried other "western" jeans but none really worked for me. Keep coming back to the Wranglers. I did wear 501s for a while but they don't really come long enough for me so I quit em too. Still wear a Levi jacket now and then though:

This is why I love this forum. I had never heard of these pants before but they look like what I need. I just ordered a pair of Delta Stretch 2.1. Should have them by Tuesday and be able to report back. Speedy for a pair of pants but I‘m betting their worth it.

Cool! Interested in hearing what you think.

If you do like them and order more, there's a guy on YouTube called "Last Line of Defense" who reviews them, and he has a fairly significant discount code if I remember correctly. The code might just be "LLOD" or something like that, but he mentions it in his videos either way.

Thank you kind sir!

Quit wearing Any thing Levi when I found out they were a contributor to anti-gun groups
Wrangler Performance Series jeans is what I have recently found.
I agree, I quit Levis a long time ago. Since then I've been wearing Wrangler 13mwz and I like them more. I wear them to my office, working around my house, whatever, and they seem to last a long time for me. I have several pair of 5.11 cargo pants that I bought used on ebay and I wear them for hiking, camping and sometimes when working in my garage. I'd like to try some Duluth pants but they are far out of my price range, I can buy 3 or 4 pair of Wranglers for the cost of one pair of Duluth. When the weather warms up enough I mostly wear cargo shorts.

Regarding quality and durability of jeans, I found these to be interesting:

Absolutely! I don't want to support a company who's against the most important founding principal of our nation.
Beyond that though I have also had very bad luck with them splitting ( I have always been thin too, so it's not me ) , and just don't like them as much as Wranglers.
I also prefer the look / layout of Wranglers jacket over the ubiquitous Levi's type 2 that so many companies have copied.
The hand pockets are in the worst position on the Levi's type 2, while the Wranglers pockets are sort of hidden in the panel seams and in the perfect position.
That being said, Big Smith used to be the best and their Buckaroo jackets were awesome.
