Don't know about others.

True, but once you register, you can change your email. I changed mine to my hotmail address a while back with no problems, and I didn't have to punch anything to do it;).

Hehe, good one Josh!

Sooooo... Many... Khukris.... I will have them all I tell you!:p

The khukri can have so many blade designs... I'm really liking the BAS, it looks well suited to catching something in the "curve" and slicing it off in the sweep! Something else to consider is weight. This will be going on hikes, and I'm not going to be hacking down logs, and now I know not to dig with it...

I'm tellin ya, ghost...a BAS is what you need. Maybe better yet, a Ghopte Balance. Something in the 14-15" range.

<<<And for those that don't care for my email adress, I am honestly a bit suprised that you looked at my profile before answering. And I am also suprised that Yvsa would assume I was trying to "make a statement". If you don't care for my company, then fine, but please refrain from insulting me. And yes, Yvsa, I found your response insulting. It's not like I am trying to display my adress to the entire world, its not my signature or my tag.>>>>> Vagina Squire

If you're honest brave and true I can't tell from this mealy mouthed "not me, man' response. I'm with Yvsa. If you're worth anything later I'll apologize for the above insult, but not for being offended by a callous and idiotic address and explanation.

Darn stuff is nearly transparent and nothing in my house but a pair of scissors'll cut it hanging ;) ;) :D

BTW, Anybody ever try to cut corners off a Telephone book before?
Saw it done in the Cold Steel DVD w/ a sword....

I can blow corners off of phone book with my 16ga. But that's more of a matter of shooting out the middle by playing with the slamfiring that actually cutting off the corners. ;)

Just... wow. I'm just trying to get some information here, not make bosom buddies. I have had some great responses for my question, and I thank those who have answered greatly for that. (It's a 15" BAS for me! :) )

I didn't get all up in your **** did I now munk? Why would you even bother insulting a mealy-mouthed, callous idiot like me? I tried apologizing, I tried diplomatically asking some people to step back, and it obviously didn't work. So just mind your own damn business please, unless you have some valuable piece of information you would like to share with me. Yeahhhh.... thanks buddddyyyy....

Well, that makes my decision a WHOLE lot easier.

The 'ignore' feature works real well.

Now try taking it to Whine & Cheese. Yeaaahhh... thanks buddeee :barf:

Please let this post die, and stop embarassing yourselves by attempting to insult me. I really don't care. Again, thank you to those who provided information.

Dear Vagina Squire:

First, you were tasteless and asked about it. It was simple. A human being could have answered. Instead you prevaricated with nonsense.

Second, when someone was offended by this additional disgusting behavior, you acted offended! You actually attacked the person who pointed it out to you.

Third, you never offered an honest apology. You are either lying or so grossly unaware it's a mute point.

Fourth, you don't get the first three, and march forward.

I don't have to 'do' anything to you. You've done a great job on yourself.

Oh- it doesn't 'embarress' me to point out digusting behavior.

A weed in the garden Munk, no less repugnant, no more important. Mending that glove with the hole in it would be time better spent.

Or buying a new pair. Agreed.

Putting aside our problems with trolls, this brings an interesting question; we've been used to the finest people lighting down in this forum. What happens when slimey humans or not very good ones arrive, who don't give a fig, but want to buy HI excellent materials? They can be rude, disgusting, disrespectful, etc etc: what obligation to teach them do we have? What obligation to Bill?

When this guy tried to make his behavior Yvsa's responsibility, I drew the line.

Now I have a pair of gloves to see about. Much appreciated Silverfalcon.

I'm new here, and I missed most of the Burafan stuff, but since he was first banned I've seen him come back several times, and he seems to start out pretty much the same way each time, and react pretty much the same way each time when somebody calls him on it. A "Gee, HI has good stuff, what about this...?" Then it starts to go to pieces, and he attacks individuals.
It looks like this is Burafan again. If it is, it's a major head problem for him. Never seen anything like this at any other board or forum I've followed.
Burafan, if it's you again, what do you hope to accomplish by continually coming back to a place you're not wanted?

Dear Ghost Squire.
There were a bunch of folks here ready to help. But your e-mail address was inexcusable. If you work for that kind of company that says something about who you are.The folks on this site are decent, caring people with a sense of honor and virtue. If you don't believe me then read some of the posts.

I think your comment that stated you were not here to make friends...you just wanted information was pretty telling. You wanted...what were you willing to give? It was not friendship...instead it was vulgarity and indifference to a very close knit group.

You do not deserve to own a HI Khuk...there are some things money won't buy. Courage is one...and so is respect. You have lost it with your attitude.

I am a new guy here in the HI cantina...but I damn well know that my need for information comes in a distant second to gaining the respect of good people. And I know that without being told.

Sorry guys didn't mean to go on a tear...but it was the right thing to do.
