Munk, you are right, but the way I heard it was, A Tool is only as good or bad as the man that uses it.
Ghost, I once had an email address like the one you have/had, and I think from the same place. Only reason I got it was to bug the hell out of my ex-wife. I've since then grown and realized that I was an a$$. Don't make the mistake of pissing off the fine people here, as they know more about khukuri's than most will ever even think about knowing. You want advice, stay friendly, and civil. Otherwise, you may as well leave, because you will not get what you want. As the old saying goes, "you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar".
 
Personaly for me, I realy didnt and dont care 2 wits about the e adress. I just dont care.

You know, when I was about 14 my mom was making dinner and had put vinegar on my dads spinach and i took him the plate.
When I came back I noticed that there were about twenty dead flies in the vinegar bottle. She had grabbed an old bottle by mistake and did not notice the dead fly flotsam.
We both covered our faces and laughed so hard in silence that we both started crying.
We didnt want my dad to find out and we never told him.
I bet he ate fifteen pickled flies with his dinner that night.
even now I start laughing when I remember that night.

So, the moral of the story is, vinegar will actually catch quite a few flies.

I dunno, maybe you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. But I DO know that once you pull their wings off, the little bast@rds will pretty much eat whatever you tell them to.

This stuff is wearing me out, fellas:( I'm just waiting for Bruise to show up and hopefully make light of the situation. btw, great story danny. kind of reminds of the story/urban myth about the reason they add the wrapper around the top of the katsup bottle so that we aren't aware of all the ground up afids, bettles, and flies that float to the top;)...everyone enjoy your lunch:)

I'm going to do my dangedest to get there, Keith. I work in the swimming pool construction, sales, and service industry so the spring and summer are the really busy times for me. It's still up in the air at the moment as i'm training a a new guy to help me out in the office. If he picks up the slack like i'm hoping, then i'll make it for sure. It'd be a great excuse to cruise up there on the ol' Harley Davidson:) I'll keep ya posted.

To be honest with you, i really have no idea what a hook n shoot fight is:) I don't doubt you in anyway that it goes on around here. I probably really do know what it is, but drank that part of my brain retarded in college. Could you fill me in? I've lived here my whole life (minus the last 4 years i was across the river in KY getting "edgeekated", but i was still in town regularly). Please let me know what a hook and shoot is. it just sounds really cool:)

Hook'n'Shoot is a Mixed Martial Arts Fighting promotion that is run out of Evansville by Jeff Osborne. They have been around since roughly the mid 90's, running a few shows a year. I did a few fights up there a few years back. If you are interested in that type of thing then the shows are worth checking out. They have great fighters (I was in no way one of them) from around the world come in for the shows (especially given the small size of the sport in general here in the U.S). One of the better promotions run here in the U.S. Here is a link that has show and ticket info. They are still working on parts of the site but it will give you general sense of what they have going on. I hope to make it up to thenext event, perhaps we will get a chance to meet. Thanks Mark

I think it's all coming back to me now. I do remember hearing a few little blurbs about it here and there. Give me a holler if you think you'll make it up for a show. Might be something others in the forums might be interested in seeing. very cool, indeed:D
