Either of you had to sharpen that blade yet? I'd assume you'd use some type of diamond sharpener, based on the hardness. I've been thinking of getting one specifically for 'box duty'

I haven’t sharpened mine yet. This one is specifically for box duty though. I think Chip has sharpened his and didn’t sound to bad. I’d imagine diamonds would fix it right up.

I didn't "need" to sharpen it, I just wanted it thinner behind the edge...diamonds cut it just fine

Since getting the micarta scales installed, been carrying these more often than my other more pricey pieces.

First rit dye attempt on my blue delica! I like the way it turned out. Also did a little stonewashing to it awhile back with AZ gravel.

Not sure how I feel about carrying the DEK1 daily, kind of fills the pocket too much. I’ll go back to the EDC2 tomorrow, it’s just perfect.

I can see how filling that can be in the pocket, you do have a nice belt sheath for it already, go make all the job site people jealous!

Personally, I love barter...it avoids pesky conversations when money never comes in or goes out

Selling from the collection works too. Then when I buy new knives, I feel like I'm using the house's money...and I can feel good about how much I have left over (temporarily).
