Definitely an interesting display piece. That would make a great centerpiece/convo starter if you made a coffee table display case with a bunch of folders in it.

Can't imagine trying to clean that after processing a fish though

These days I edc a Coldsteel Recon 1 spear point S35VN. It's a heck of a knife at a good price point.

Besides my normal rotation of slipjoint knives (Swenson, Fannin, Bell, Lloyd, Wiseman, Birdvis, Saldana), my EDC for quite some time now has been a Quiet Carry Waypoint with black G10. Every once in a while I'll toss my CRK Lg Sabenza in my pocket. For a pocket knife the Waypoint does what I need it to do on a daily basis. Today it's the QC and Birdvis Knives Hitchcock.

If I'm heading somewhere where a fixed blade doesn't make sense or isn't welcome (i.e. most places I go), usually default to one of these options:

"These are small and dressy enough not to draw the ire of my wife."

OR

"I might actually have to cut something."
