My 1970's Boker picked up some rust while overseas for almost 20 years. With the original laser engraving on the main blade makes polishing a problem. Like the scales and blade combo you chose.

I've reverted to the classics. I've got fancier knives, but the Buck 110 seems to hit a sweet spot for me. The 'slim' versions are ideal for my needs - lightweight, easy to carry, one-hand deployable, and a good-sized blade. I recently found the brown micarta one that I thought I had lost. It turns out that it was clipped into a pocket of a pair of pants I hadn't worn in a while. D'oh!

Well, if we're showing off 110's....this was one made by the custom shop some years ago out of spare parts...as I recall. BG-42 blade. Green "Frenchwood". Nickel silver bolsters. 7 3/8 ounces of American craftsmanship.

They made them available to us here on the forums way back when...
