My M4 benchmade crooked river needs to be sharpened and so does my cruwear PM2. Today I'm packing my PM2 in 15v. (These are the only pocket knives in my rotation. It's boring to some, but it works for me.)

It's a really good cutter. The steel performs really well, I'd suspect in large part because of the BBB heat treat.

I'm a big fan of the PM2 design. It's a great pocket knife, but for whatever reason, I prefer my full size crooked river over any pocket knife I've handled. Also, I really seem to prefer M4 steel over just about anything else in a folder. Cruwear is a very close second, but something about the edge on M4 just clicks with me.

I really like the size as a step down from the larger F95 pattern knives and happy that it doesn’t feel as dainty as the Neons since the frame thickness is similar to the larger knives keeping the weight in the handle. The action on mine was ok out of the box, a little sluggish feeling but as the detent track has been wearing in, it’s gotten a whole lot smoother and faster feeling. There’s a lot of little details I love, like the milling around the frame edges, the thin blade stock and the extended pad they used at the end of the recessed lockbar.

It’s not all roses though, the 4 lines of jimping on the blade are totally useless, the pocket clip looks a bit underwhelming compared to the details milled everywhere else on the knife and the stonewashed finish isn’t that nice when compared to my other Shiro’s. The difference can be seen above, the Stellar has a splotchy effect compared to the F95 Zero’s even-sheen similar to the glass blasted finish CRK does now.
