I was under the impression the Zaan was a fairly large knife. Looks small compared to your Shiro. Which model is that one?

J Jabrni It’s a Quantum R1 edition. If you actually zoom in on the pic of the Shiro. You’ll see the design says R1 on the scales.

Nice one Doc. Appears to be well used and loved ! I’ve had a handful over the years and even gifted some to my boys.

Gotta ask, have you compared Hinderer designed ZTs to similar RHKs and found a significant difference in quality ? IMO, the sturdiness and quality is comparable. Albeit, RHKs can be a little more customizable w/ slightly smoother action. That said, I’ve only owned three RHKs to compare to the 5 or 6 ZTs…..

I could not agree with you more brother MC. I also have a single Hinderer, but more ZTs. The quality of ZT's work, the price point, their collaboration experiments, etc. have my strong brand loyalty.
