Carbon Fiber Friday! Everyone knows I have a real problem leaving anything alone, so of course the VC Edge "Interface" wasn't safe I made it a smidge lighter and a whole lot brighter... hogging out the backspacer to fit a massive 3x22.5mm tritium vial, set a 2x6mm in the flipper tab and dots in the pivot And it comes in at 1.450 ounces, down 2 thousandths from stock weight!

Is this considered a D/A because of the different options to deploy? I guess I thought D/A was open and close with a button or mechanism.

In an OTF context you're correct, in a side opener it refers to being able to operate manually or automatically.

Thanks for the post & video. I scoured the 'Bay to find one at a reasonable price, found one and received it today. It really is an interesting lock. One-hand opening, sadly two-hand close. A small change on the blade shape could have resulted in the ability to one-hand close it.
