I just picked up a bottle of mineral oil yesterday, definitely seems better than olive oil to me after rubbing a few scales down. Thanks for the tip!Olive oil (and other cooking oils) will go rancid. You’d be much better off using mineral oil.
I picked up a full size Adamas from the exchange recently. I went back and forth trying to figure out if I was going to give it a try. It’s a decent size blade, quite hefty, and the Cruwear is super sharp. Action is much better than my old Osborn. Certainly is not in the same realm as the CRK but it’s a good work knife. Might try a set of the Applied Weapons Trch scales for the Adamas. I really hate holes in my scales.
