I’ve been wanting to try out some Seki-City K390 for a long time and I felt that the Stretch 2 is the best way to do it! Magnamax Mule thrown in for size comparison and for a steel that could end up being a “K390 killer”/alternative.

I can't put my finger on the 'why' but I like steels that develop some character over time. I really enjoy the performance of the couple knives I have in k390 and don't mind some cursory maintenance after use and a touch up here and there.

I'm sure I'll end up eating my words and trying magnamax at some point but for the time being I don't think it's something on my radar.
