Lets us know what kind of knife did you get
for Christmas, was it a really a surprise or did you know you were getting it.

I wasn't surprised when the D/A Socom that I ordered arrived, but I was surprised at how nice it was.

I got my Xmas gift from you guys and the price was right. I think I ordered it from Roger. BM 710. Knife was a bit dull but it sharpened up good. I think knives are like guns in that they have "lawyer triggers/blades". I don't intend to shoot/cut any lawyers. Tell Roger I am calling next week about a BM 330. Merry Xmas to you guys.

I got a Cold Steel mini Shinobu out of production model . My good friend Chris Christman from Top Of Texas Knives gave it to me with a small piece of damascus to make a few miniatures out of .

I bought myself a Parker Edwards 5" lockback, Damascus blade and Stag scales (from 1985). My wife bought me a Cold Steel Trail Master with Stag handle, not a surprise. Today I received a Spyderco Jess Horn C27, a surprise from someone very special. I am one very happy knifenut.

Nobody in my family knew what I was babbling about when I "hinted" (read "circled pictures in magazines and said the names of the knives I wanted about a million times"). I even left a "note to myself" by the computer about getting the Leatherman Wave at Mercata for $28 after my sister couldn't figure out what to get! She got me this pretty necklace that I thought I would break if I picked it up to fast! I'm finally getting an Endura and Delica though. Holding off on the Axis Lock after all, until the Ares comes out. Also getting a new hiking backpack.

I basicly answered this question in the thread "From me to me", but without the help of certain people it would not have been possible.
Jim O'Young of Speedtech made sure the Chris Reeve/Al Mar 4.5"I bought from him arrived in time for Christmas.
The Polaris #3 folder Allen Elishewitz/Joe Pirela was done in time for Christmas, although won't be here til next week.
And above all my Wife who helped finacially to make this possible.

I want to thank all of these people who made this one of my bests Christmas'.

Got 2 bowies from my wife. Both made by Bob Miller of Holly Knives. First was an English style with 02 steel blade, ironwood handles and brass fixtures. That one was a surprise, also have coming large Confederate style bowie with ironwood handles and ivory inlay. Won't get it until sometime next week but that way Christmas lasts a while.

We haven't been to my parents place yet, we're going over there later today. Since they both are knife people it's a safe bet there is at least one more wrapped up for me.

Have a Merry Christmas everyone and don't forget the reason for the season, as they say.

My buddy sent me a beautiful Marbles split spring whittler with tortoise shell scales.I collect whittlers and this is one good looking knife.

I got three. My son got me a Colt Black Diamond Defender my wife got me a five bladed peanut form case with mother of pearl handle {1of999},and a friend of mine got me a camillus yellow jacket stockman.Merry Christmas to all,and have a knife day.
 
MT-Socom M/A and a Benchmade 910SBT.

She also got me a Bushmaster Shorty AR-15 w/ red-dot scope.

She is a wonderful woman!!
