What kind of knife do you have in your car?

I Have a CRKT Komudo in the center arm rest and a Leatherman Multi-tool in the glove compartment.

Thank you , Mike Kyle.

I keep a Leatherman Supertool in the glove box, a seat belt cutter ($1.50) in the sun visor, and a 15" crowbar (Estwing -- very light!) by my seat.

Crowbar may help in the unlikely event of an accident. And in the even less likely event of car-jacking, well ...

BTW, Blilious -- are you asking primarily RE emergency or protection?

Thank me -- my posts make yours sound smarter.

I keep a Spyderco Toad in the dash tray.
I also have a Klotzli and REKAT Pioneer in the console compartment.
Finally, I have a REKAT Utility hung upside down on the driver's door post. You can't see it because it's behind the seat belt.
I use the Toad for about everything including playing with it while driving. It's short little blade can't do much damage, and its hell on fingernails and catsup containers.
The Klotzli is a great hambuger/bagel slicer. The REKATS are for emergencies or self defense.

In my truck rides the only forged knife I have ever made. The knife looks similar to a Larry Harley Battle Bowie but heavier and larger! It's 01 with white Corian handles and my early (not perfect) filework all over. The big bowie is not real pretty but the blade is "right" and the overall balance is VERY blade heavy. It's great for lopping, chopping and other rugged type use. And....you definately wouldn't want to be on the wrong end of it

Swedish "Frost's" laminated carbon steel utility knife with an orange plastic handle and black plastic sheath. Lives in the tool box on the floor of my truck. Cheap, ugly, razor sharp, and reliable.

Alright, Bilibiliolioiulous (or whatever) I used to carry an explorer (remember those?) dagger next to my gearshift. I actually used the serration on it more than any other part (for opening packages or whatever).
If discreetness is your concern there are perfectly legal (yeah, I know you're an Israeli, but for everyone else) emergency devises that are designed to punch through a windshield. It looks kind of like an icepick. I imagine it would be an outstanding stabbing implement if any hands ever decided to try to grab your watch or something. I used to have one of those. I'm not quite sure where it went to though. (maybe it went with that car when I sold it, oh well)

An "AUTO". Are we gonna let that one just slip by without comment? Or punishment?
