What knife company does the best serrations?

If you look at Ka-bars serrations you will notice that they are a bit rounded. This makes them glide through the material with ease, no snagging.

Spydero...

Easiset to sharpen quickly with a DMT rod you can carry in your back pocket. I won't own a knife I can't sharpen and maintain myself, and Spyderco offers the best combination of features, quality of construction, AND serrations in this respect.

Now I haven't used every type of serration out there, but then I haven't had to to find one that works for my needs (Spyderco). Several others I have used don't work as well, and some manufactures have designed them so that they are literally impossble to maintain.

Spyderco then the Veff ones by CRKT. If only they started using S30V or 154CM instead of that AUS-8....

Victorinox and Wenger. I like Vics because they are uniform in size. I especially like the larger serrations used on the hawkbill Baker's knife. Vic and Wenger both win because their thin edges and blades simply slice better than anything else.

Not a big fan of the serration in general, but the Veff ones by CRKT seem to work well.

I love spyderco but do not like their serrations. They are kind of big and kind of tear things.

What company does the best?

Funny, I like serrations that: "are kind of big and kind of tear things" ;)
